Fund Development Coordinator

The Fund Development Coordinator reports to the CEO and is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the blood center's community outreach and fundraising program. Position will create and execute a comprehensive program and be responsible for grants, special events, sponsorships, annual drive, and endowment development. Position will engage a broad spectrum of funders and supporters as the organization continues to grow and diversify its revenue streams. Position is instrumental in helping support RRVBC's growth, sustainability, and greatest funding needs.

Successful candidate is results oriented with ability to effectively communicate RRVBC's story, mission and greatest funding needs to support our community and patients in need. Three plus years fundraising development and community outreach experience in the nonprofit sector along with one plus years grant writing and research, special events and campaign management experience required. Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Fundraising, Marketing or related field required along with CFRE Certification and Association of Fundraising Professionals Membership a plus.
